Post Class Reflection 3

  I was excited to attend today's class as last few classes were very interesting and also because today was my turn to present. Today's class started with the teacher playing a video on how the internet works. I liked how the video was so simple yet so descriptive. After the video, we got to know about the acrostic poem. The class then forwarded with a presentation on ‘ Scientific Journal Article ’ by Ashok’s group. They explained about introduction, scope, history, method, publishing process, types of articles, cost, copyright, importance of scientific articles and conclusion. I learnt that a scientific journal is a periodical publication intended to further the progress of science, usually by reporting new research. To be honest, the presentation was a little boring. The slides were filled with texts and the presenters were simply reading what was on the slide. After this, it was out turn to present. Post Class Reflection 2

Today's class started with attending a quiz organized by the teacher in Quizizz. The quiz was named “ Informational Text Structure ”. I was a little late to attend the quiz at the very beginning. The quiz was fun and quite easy too. To my dismay, I won the quiz despite starting late. After the quiz, we discussed about assessment plans and presentation plans. After this discussion, Amir and his group presented on ‘ Project Proposal ’. They explained about the proposal, the purpose of writing proposal, its types, features of a good proposal. They also explained how important it is for students in the academic fields. I learnt that a p roject proposal is a detailed document about a project that has to be explained to the outside contributors to get their approval for the project which can be mainly for their financial support or can be for academic purpose.
